GeomorphIS Provides Support to BLM Roseburg, Oregon, Office

The US Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Roseburg District Office, Oregon, has tasked GeomorphIS to provide an on-site archaeology technician to support digitization of the District’s hardcopy cultural resources documents, and management of the digital database.

GeomorphIS Springs to Action on New NAVFAC SW Task Order

GeomorphIS will conduct spring wetland assessments at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, California, in early 2016. A team of GeomorphIS biologists will conduct condition and habitat assessments of remote canyon springs within the Navy installation. Field work includes water quality evaluation of water sources and riparian zones, vegetation survey, and avian and wildlife surveys in and adjacent to the wetlands.

BLM Tasks GeomorphIS to Conduct Cultural Resources Inventory

GeomorphIS and our teaming partners, Hope Archaeology, Inc. and U.S. West Research, Inc., will conduct a cultural resources inventory of a 350-acre site along the west side of the Upper Madison River, Montana. Survey methods will be in accordance with the BLM-Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota Handbook H-8110-1 – Guidelines for the Identifying Cultural Resources.

GeomorphIS Part of AECOM’s SCE Environmental On-Call Team

AECOM has included GeomorphIS as part of their Southern California Edison (SCE) environmental services on-call contract. GeomorphiS provides biological survey and monitoring services on this contract.

RJC Architects Contracts with GeomorphIS for GIS Support

Under RJC Architect’s new NAVFAC Southwest on-call services contract, GeomorphIS is providing GIS support for preparation of the Naval base Coronado Coastal Campus Area Development Plan and Design Guidelines. GeomorphIS is implementing the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) Navy Data Model for the planning and design data.
