GeomorphIS Team to Provide Soil Science Support to US Forest Service in Montana

The US Forest Service, Custer-Gallatin National Forest has tasked the GeomorphIS / Watershed Consulting team to provide Soil Disturbance Monitoring and Legacy Soils Data Entry support services. The GeomorphIS team soil scientist and field technician will provide direct assistance to the Forest soil scientist conducting soil disturbance monitoring on past timber harvest areas. A GeomorphIS team data entry specialist will enter legacy soil data into the USDA-NRCS National Soil Information System (NASIS) Pedon Program.

BLM-Nevada Tasks GeomorphIS to Conduct Archaeological Surveys for Winnemucca District

The BLM Winnemucca District has tasked GeomorphIS and our teaming partner, DIGTECH, to conduct an archaeological inventory of two segments of the Applegate Trail, which is part of the California Trail, totaling approximately 208 acres and a distance of approximately 17.2 miles in Pershing and Humboldt Counties, Nevada.
