BLM Medford District Tasks GeomorphIS to Provide GIS Support

GeomorphIS will provide the US Bureau of Land Management, Medford District, Oregon with an on-site GIS specialist to support the District Fuels Treatment Program. The GIS specialist will ensure all data meets the Oregon/Washington Treatment Spatial Data Standard, and will support the National Fire Plan Operations & Reporting System (NFPORS) interagency database.

HOK Tasks GeomorphIS Team to Support VA Project

Prime Architect, HOK, has tasked GeomorphIS to conduct several specialist studies in support of new construction at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center Long Beach (California). GeomorphIS and partners, AEC, SWCA, and Geosyntec will prepare the project Environmental Assessment (EA); conduct air quality, asbestos, and lead surveys; update the historic preservation report; and conduct additional geotechnical/seismic studies. The project will include new mental health, community living center, parking structure, and co-generation plant.

NAVFAC SW Awards GeomorphIS New 5-Year, $50M Natural Resources IDIQ

The GeomorphIS team has won a 5-year Small Business Multiple Award Services Contract to provide natural resources services to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest. GeomorphIS is one of four firms awarded a contract on this $50M Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) acquisition. The natural resources related services will be performed at Navy and Marine Corps facilities in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

GSA Tasks GeomorphIS to Conduct Hazmat Surveys

GeomorphIS and team member AEC will conduct pre-alteration surveys for asbestos and lead-based paint in the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Office Building and Courthouse in San Diego, California. The survey reports will support the renovation of 10,000 square-feet of the building for a new child care center.
