GeomorphIS to Provide Fire and Fuels Planning Services to BLM Vale District Office

GeomorphIS has been awarded a task order to prove Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation (ESR) fire and fuels planning services to the US Bureau of Land Management, Vale District Office in eastern Oregon. The GeomorphIS Fire / Fuels Planner serves as the ESR planning lead when needed and enters data into the Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation System and the National Fire Plan Operations and Reporting System.

NAVFAC SW Awards Natural Resources IDIQ Contract to GeomorphIS

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW) has awarded a 3-year, up to $10 million, IDIQ contract (N62473-13-D-4813) to GeomorphIS, LLC to perform surveying, inventorying, monitoring and mapping of natural resources, GIS mapping of natural resources, wetland wash management, educational/outreach services, and other natural resource support in various locations in Arizona, California and Nevada. GeomorphIS is one of four small businesses awarded a contract under this IDIQ. GeomorphIS’ team on this contract includes HDR Environmental, Operations and Construction, Inc.; Apex Contracting and Consulting, Inc.; and Conservation Science Research and Consulting. Bureau of Indian Affairs Awards SPCCP Task Order to GeomorphIS

The US Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Western Regional Office (WRO), Division of Environmental, Safety, and Cultural Resources Management (DESCRM) has tasked GeomorphIS, LLC to prepare Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans (SPCCPs) for 15 BIA facilities in Arizona and Nevada. The GeomorphIS team will inspect Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs) and other bulk fuel and oil storage containers at remote BIA facilities, and prepare the SPCCPs per 40 CFR Part 112. GeomorphIS team staff will then train BIA staff in application of the SPCPPs. Additional SPCCPs will be prepared for new sites, as needed.
