GeomorphIS Provides Fire Management Support to BLM Roseburg District Office

The BLM has tasked GeomorphIS to provide a temporary Fire Management Consultant to the Roseburg District Office in Roseburg, Oregon. The GeomorphIS Fire Manager will serve as the technical POC for the Western Oregon Protection Contract; serve as a liaison between the Oregon Department of Forestry, the Douglas Forest Protection Agency and the Interagency Fire Program between the BLM and the Umpqua National Forest; provide leadership to staff within the Coos Bay and Roseburg fire management programs; provides training and mentoring to the new Fire Management Officer and employees in the fire program; and related duties as needed.
